Your run.stream release link
How your release gets a shareable link, what fans see before and after release day, and which audience counts Run keeps.
Every submitted release gets a public page at run.stream/{artist}/{release}. Run creates the link when you submit, using readable artist and release names in the address. You can share one link before release day and keep using it after the music is out.
Before release day
For a future-dated release, the page can offer Spotify pre-save and Apple Music pre-add. The buttons appear when each service is available for that release; Spotify pre-save is offered only within its supported lead time. Fans use the service they choose to authorize saving the release. Pre-save is limited to those two services.
A pre-save page does not mean the release is already available to stream. Store delivery is a separate step, and you can follow it in Tracking delivery.
On and after release day
The page becomes a streaming page with your artwork, release title, artists and available store links. Releases set to go out as soon as possible and back-catalog releases use this streaming view too.
Store links appear as they become available. If a store link is missing, check that store’s delivery status before assuming the share page is wrong. A run.stream page does not guarantee that every store has published the release at the same time.
What you learn about fans
Fan data is counts only. You do not receive a fan list or fan email addresses, and fans do not create Run accounts to use the page. The audience counts are separate from the royalties reported for your release.
Branding
Your release artwork and metadata identify the music on the page. White-label workspace branding does not replace Run branding on run.stream. Workspace branding explains which surfaces use your business name and logo.
